Frequently Asked Questions

What do you write?

I write supernatural mysteries rooted in real-life social issues. Alongside unexplained events and family secrets, my stories explore the pressures people face, the harm that can remain hidden and the consequences for those involved.

I also write poetry, including Awaken the Warrior Inside, inspired by my experience as a father supporting my daughter through cancer.

Which book should I start with?

If you enjoy mysteries with a supernatural edge, try The Last Caller, which centres on dark family secrets and a voice from beyond the grave. If you prefer poetry, Awaken the Warrior Inside offers a more personal introduction to my writing.

What inspired Awaken the Warrior Inside?

The collection grew from my experience as a father supporting my daughter through cancer. Its poems reflect the fear, love and hope that accompany someone you love through serious illness.

Where are you based?

I’m based in Devon, in the South West of England. My background is in journalism and communications.
